Teaching Services:
Dean Lin Yongfa has a unique style and originality in ink painting creation. He uses traditional brush and ink to integrate Western artistic creation trends and oriental aesthetics to present the style of modern Chinese ink painting. He has published nine volumes of "The Collection of Lin Yongfa's Paintings", "The Song of Ru Mu's Painting Collection", "Exhaustive of Reasons - Lin Yongfa's Flower and Bird Painting Creation Concept and Works Analysis", "Seven Friends Painting Society and Research on Art", "Nature and Artistic Realm - Lin Yongfa's Ink Painting Creation Concept" "Analysis of Works", "Sunrise·Taitung·Ding Xuezhu", "The Complete Works of Taiwan's Art Development History", etc.
Also participated in most of the joint exhibitions in the United States, the mainland, Spain and other places. He won the 30th Chinese Literature and Art Medal, the first prize of the 41st Taiwan Provincial Art Exhibition, the 2007 Korea International Wansong Art and Culture Award, and the 2015 Korea Inshou Culture Award.
He has served as the preparatory committee member of the 16th National Art Exhibition, the reviewer of national art exhibitions such as the provincial art exhibition, the reviewer of the 2017 Ministry of Education Art Education Contribution Award, and the reviewer of the 2017 Kaohsiung Award. In addition to teaching at Taitung University, he also cared about prison inmates, taught aesthetics, instructed the creation of ink and wash paintings, and cultivated aesthetic appreciation and creative skills.
